Operational Intelligence Analyst

 

The role

The Player Sustainability Operational Intelligence Specialist will Support the Player Sustainability Team in providing bespoke business intelligence, statistics and reports.
Provide valuable insight and recommendations to prevent fraudulent activity, improve operational efficiency and ensure operational tasks are handled in a timely manner and of high quality.

 

Duties and responsibilities

  • Produce and analyse Player Sustainability KPIs. Based on your findings, produce accurate reports and recommendations to improve the ways of working and optimize fraud detection by the Player Sustainability Team
  • Provide context to North American Player Sustainability statistics in a way that is easily understood
  • Continuously monitor and analyze performance data to identify and implement improvement solutions
  • Conduct or provide input/support in operational risk analyses on a continuous basis to identify any potential compliance gaps or risks
  • Maintain an information and feedback flow with the Player Sustainability Team
  • Gather data & conduct analyses as requested, but primarily focused on either fraud trend analysis or management insights
  • Review payments disputes to mitigate losses by contesting effectively and producing valuable analysis and feedback for frontline Player Sustainability teams
  • Support frontline Player Sustainability teams with requests from the police, regulators and other authorities to support their investigations
  • Support the Player Sustainability Team with account compromise investigations and processes.
  • Undertake project work to improve the ways of working of the Player Sustainability Team
  • Other necessary requirements, including dealing with customers and record-keeping, as well as other tasks set out by management

How you will be measured?

  • Relevant departmental and team OKRs and KPIs
  • Fraud detection targets, including Chargeback ratio and bonus abuse savings
  • Delivery time and quality of analysis and reports

What have you done?

  • Demonstrated experience in a data-driven role
  • Experience and interest in counter-fraud highly appreciated
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools. Knowledge of data analysis tools & SQL will be a plus
  • Experience building dashboards and other data visualizations
  • Have an eye for detail and an analytical way of approaching problems
  • Ability to go into detail and come up with valuable suggestions
  • Ability to plan and execute projects as part of a team with a wide range of tasks
  • Ability to clearly communicate information to stakeholders in an individual or group setting
  • Effective team player who is dedicated to the success of the team and the department as a whole
  • Resilience and Agility to work under pressure and adapt seamlessly to changes in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Have a genuine desire to learn
