Our office is situated in the World Trade Center, Gibraltar’s most prestigious business space. We employ over 250 employees from 10 nationalities, primarily supporting our UK operations for the 32Red and Unibet brands. Our main functions are sportsbook trading, IT, operations, marketing and customer support.
The World Trade Center is but a stone’s throw away from a beautiful marina hosting luxury yachts and a wide range of great bars and restaurants, as well as a casino and the 5-star Sunborn yacht hotel. You will also be close to Casemates Square in the town centre which is packed with restaurants and evening entertainment.
There are plenty of opportunities to socialise with your Gibraltar office colleagues, whether enjoying barbecues and beach days in Spain or Gibraltar or more organised Kindred activities both during and out of office hours. Our sports and social committee organises regular poker nights and pub quizzes. We have two football teams and a cricket team, as well as a local gym membership for everyone. And if you like letting your hair down, don’t miss our two main party events: April’s Grand National Party and the Christmas party.
Location and lifestyle
There’s nowhere quite like The Rock of Gibraltar! Sitting strategically on the southern tip of Spain where the Atlantic and the Mediterranean seas unite, this bustling 6.8km2 piece of limestone offers so much for such a tiny place: a warm, sunny climate; tax-free shopping; fascinating naval history; a wonderful nature reserve hosting unique species; stunning views across the bay to Morocco; a rich British/European cultural mix, all right on the doorstep of Spain.
Cross the frontier and you’ll be basking on the beaches of Spain’s Costa Del Sol and Costa de la Luz. The beauty of Andalusia – its white villages, stunning beaches, mountains, skiing (yes skiing!) and kite/windsurfing - is never far away.
This British territory’s population is around 30,000, not counting its famous population of wild Barbary macaques (apes) which now totals around 200 – don’t be surprised if you cross paths as you wander through the outskirts of town! Languages spoken are English and Spanish (plus local yanito, a unique blend of the two) but in the office, English is the language used.
Property prices are high in Gibraltar and, although conveniently located, for some people they can often seem too high to warrant living on the Rock. But no problem. Should you decide not to base your life exclusively in Gibraltar, you can enjoy the best of both worlds by making a short commute from your home in Spain each day, crossing the narrow airstrip to enter Gibraltar – a unique experience that many of our employees choose to do each day.
