The role

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Product Designer to join our central team focused on internal tools and governance, as well as contributing to aspects of the customer experience. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape tools and processes that empower our teams while delivering value to our customers. You'll have a direct impact on enhancing workflows, ensuring governance standards, and improving the overall experience of our internal and external platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and improve internal tools, focusing on user needs and business goals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product owners, and stakeholders.
Conduct user research to understand the needs and pain points of internal teams and end-users, translating insights into actionable design decisions.
Develop and maintain scalable design systems.
Prototype and iterate on designs, using feedback to refine and optimise the user experience.
Balance business requirements with usability, ensuring compliance without compromising on user-centric design.
Contribute to the design of select customer-facing experiences, ensuring alignment with Group's brand and values.

Compliance & Training

Ensure that you adhere to the Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) obligations for your role.
Identify and raise any non-compliance incidents promptly to your line manager.
Challenge processes, policies and projects that will negatively impact compliance within the Group.
Complete all mandatory compliance training assigned to you.
Reach out to the Compliance Teams if unsure of any of your compliance obligations or the requirements are unclear.

What we are looking for:

2-3 years of experience as a Product Designer, ideally with exposure to both internal tools and customer-facing applications.
Strong portfolio showcasing user-centred design, problem-solving skills, and design system contributions.
Experience in user research, usability testing, and using insights to inform design solutions.
Proficiency in design tools like Figma or similar.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
A proactive mindset, with a passion for optimising processes and creating meaningful experiences.
