The Technical Strategy & Performance Manager plays a crucial role in enabling the successful execution and continuous evolution of the technology strategy within the OBG business unit. Partnering with Tech Management (directors and top tech leads), this role drives the operational delivery of the strategy by managing the performance measurement framework, overseeing project tracking, and facilitating key strategic workshops. You will lead the collection, consolidation, and visualization of project performance data to ensure transparency, alignment, and data-driven decision-making across technology teams and with business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy Facilitation & Performance Management

Support the Head of Strategic Planning and Delivery by facilitating the ongoing refinement and execution of the technical strategy across departments.

Organize and lead bi-annual strategic workshops with key technology stakeholders to gather input, update priorities, and generate actionable outcomes.

Maintain comprehensive documentation of the strategic initiatives and their associated performance metrics.

Performance Tracking & Reporting

Oversee a structured, recurring process for collecting monthly performance updates from project teams tied to the technical strategy, covering project status, financials, risk registers, and KPIs.

Ensure all projects have clear business cases with defined KPIs and methodologies for measuring and tracking ROI.

Develop and manage automated, visually engaging dashboards that provide leadership and stakeholders with real-time insights into project and portfolio health.

Proactively identify and escalate risks or issues threatening the achievement of strategic outcomes or budget targets.

Communication & Stakeholder Engagement

Own the communication plan for technology strategy delivery to ensure clear, consistent, and timely information flow across the tech organization and relevant business units.

Translate complex performance data and project updates into clear, actionable reports and presentations tailored to varied audiences.

Serve as a critical liaison between tech project teams, Tech Management, and wider organizational stakeholders to maintain alignment and foster collaboration.

Continuous Improvement & Governance

Regularly review strategy execution and reporting processes, recommending and implementing enhancements for efficiency and effectiveness.

Foster a culture of accountability and data-driven decision making through adherence to rigorous project governance and KPI monitoring practices.
