The role

We are seeking a Technical Project & Performance Manager to join our Tech Growth & Strategy team. As a Technical Project & Performance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution and performance of technical strategic projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives. This role blends technical expertise with project management skills, focusing on delivering value, driving performance improvements, and ensuring successful project delivery. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, a deep understanding of technical operations.

What you will do

  • Be responsible for owning and driving the technical delivery of key strategic projects ensuring project timelines, budgets, and scope are set and monitored at all times
  • Work closely with stakeholders to define clear project goals, deliverables, and performance metrics
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders across various departments to ensure optimal allocation of resources and achievement of financial targets
  • Identify potential risks and issues that could impact project timelines, quality, or cost, and develop mitigation strategies to address them
  • Communicate efficiently and proactively with stakeholders on all levels
  • Report progress to Tech stakeholders to ensure clear communication and commitment to projects
  • Coordinate the allocation of technical resources, ensuring that project teams have the necessary skills and tools to succeed
  • Track the performance of project outcomes through key performance indicators (KPIs) and other metrics, ensuring that objectives are met
  • Ensure that you adhere to the Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) obligations for your role.
  • Identify and raise any non-compliance incidents promptly to your line manager.
  • Challenge processes, policies and projects that will negatively impact compliance within the Group.
  • Complete all mandatory compliance training assigned to you.
  • Reach out to the Compliance Teams if unsure of any of your compliance obligations or the requirements are unclear.

 

How will success be measured in this role

  • Quality of project deliveries will be measured, ensuring the deliveries on time and within budget, as well as stakeholders satisfaction
  • Acting in line with Kindred Group values
  • Successful completion of all relevant training and other compliance activities that support Kindred's sustainable and responsible growth

 

Your experience

  • Technical background, perhaps you started off your career working with SW development or within QA
  • Experience in working with Agile, particularly Scrum/Kanban
  • Understanding of Project Management methodology. Preferably from being part of project management teams in the past and from education
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to align technical projects with business goals and drive long-term value
  • Attention to Detail: Ensures high-quality, accurate project outcomes by maintaining focus on the finer details
  • Agile and adaptable, capable of thriving in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, adjusting priorities as needed
  • Understanding of how to drive projects where business value is delivered continuously
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills and ability to address both technical and non-technical representatives at all levels within the company
  • You have an organized, structured, methodical and diligent mindset/way of working
  • A can do personality with a hands-on approach and desire to deliver
  • Strong analytical skills to assess project performance and implement improvements
  • Experience in defining and measuring project success metrics and KPIs
  • Fluent verbal and written English
  • Experience with project management tools
  • Degree education. Preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Not mandatory but counted as plus, experience from the online gambling industry
