The Role

Reporting to the Sportsbook Operational Control & Compliance Manager, the Sportsbook Audit Executive plays a key role in safeguarding the accuracy and integrity of sportsbook operations. Responsibilities include ensuring settlement processes run correctly, monitoring for late bets and pricing errors, and performing day-to-day audit checks and reporting.

You will collaborate with third-party suppliers, Trading & Risk, and Operational Compliance teams to ensure products and processes meet regulatory standards. The role follows a variable shift pattern, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, aligned with the sporting calendar.

Key Responsibilities

  • Run regular sportsbook audit checks on supplier feeds and trading outputs to validate settlement accuracy.
  • Monitor platform/feed health (latency, outages, data completeness) and raise incidents with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Manage alerts for late bets and pricing discrepancies; record, escalate, and track issues to resolution.
  • Produce clear evidence and maintain an audit-ready trail.
  • Generate regular and ad hoc reports on settlement quality, error rates, late bet trends, and market/trader performance.
  • Assist with data trend analysis and basic forecasting to support actionable improvements.
  • Support integrity reviews by analyzing betting patterns, market movements, and timing.
  • Conduct enhanced due diligence checks and coordinate with Operational Compliance and Control teams.
  • Collaborate with player sustainability/abuse teams on customer queries linked to audit findings.
  • Maintain SOPs, control checklists, and training materials; contribute to knowledge sharing.
  • Suggest process and control improvements and support testing and implementation.
  • Deliver training and guidance to customer-facing teams on audit processes and late-bet handling.
  • Carry out manual bet settlements when necessary.

Your Experience

  • Previous experience in sportsbook operations, trading support, risk, compliance, fraud, or payments.
  • Strong understanding of bookmaking principles and supporting mathematics.
  • Advanced Excel skills and ability to handle large datasets.
  • Excellent attention to detail and reliability in fast-paced environments.
  • Analytical mindset with clear presentation skills.
  • Proactive, curious, and sound judgment on issue escalation.
  • Knowledge or interest in sports betting (training provided).
  • Flexible, enthusiastic, and strong work ethic.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Willingness to work variable shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

  • Timely completion of daily/weekly checks and reports.
  • High-quality documentation with minimal review feedback.
  • Effective issue management, reducing late bet and pricing errors.
  • Positive impact on sportsbook revenue and margins.
