The Role

As a Software Engineer at FDJ UNITED, you are a team player contributing to deliveries. Key to this role is learning continuously in practice, particularly from more senior colleagues.

What You will do

  • Follows best practice guidelines provided and Tech process.
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks for both UI testing and API testing.
  • Execute manual and automated tests to identify bugs and ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Work closely with developers, POs, and other stakeholders to ensure quality is embedded throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Releases components to production and keeping them up to date with appropriate versioning.
  • Actively participate in team discussions, contributing insights, and collaborating to resolve challenges.
  • Troubleshoot test failures, analyze root causes, and work with the team to resolve issues quickly.
  • Stay updated with the latest QA trends, tools, and practices to bring new insights to the team.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve test processes to enhance product quality and team efficiency.

Your Experience

  • Some knowledge in Java, JavaScript or typescript
  • Practical experience with Cypress or similar framework: Playwright, WebDriver etc.
  • Solid understanding of software testing principles and quality practices.
  • Experience integrating automated tests with CI/CD pipelines
  • Proven track record of creating and maintaining automated test frameworks
  • Experience with API test automation
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
