The role

At FDJ United, we believe that collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning drive our success. As a Software Engineer, you'll be an active contributor to our deliveries and an integral part of a supportive, growth-oriented team. Learning in practice — especially from experienced colleagues — is at the heart of how we work and develop together.

We're looking for a Test Automation QA Engineer with strong CI/CD experience, based in Madrid, to join our expanding iOS development team. You'll play a key role in ensuring high-quality, efficient releases that enhance the user experience and reflect our commitment to excellence.

Key accountabilities

  • Develops software to meet requirements (business and tech)
  • Tests own work using appropriate techniques e.g. unit testing, integration testing
  • Follows best practice guidelines provided and Tech process
  • Releases components to production and keeping them up to date with appropriate versioning
  • Responsible for their own learning
  • Ensure that you adhere to the Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) obligations for your role.
  • Identify and raise any non-compliance incidents promptly to your line manager.
  • Challenge processes, policies and projects that will negatively impact compliance within the Group.
  • Complete all mandatory compliance training assigned to you.
  • Reach out to the Compliance Teams if unsure of any of your compliance obligations or the requirements are unclear.


Skills, knowledge and experience:

  • Understands the architecture of the team's components, business area the team works in and a grasp of the non-functional requirements
  • Competent in the relevant programming languages
  • Good communication skills
  • Able to follow the agile process used by the team
  • Understand how to give and receive feedback
  • Experience of applying different test approaches
  • Experience working as Incident manager
  • Able to make a release of a component to production
  • Has an appreciation for need to do secure development and knowledge of OWASP
  • Able to troubleshoot in case of problems
