Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop new RESTful Web APIs and microservices using C#
  • Maintain and enhance existing C# APIs and microservices
  • Expand and maintain a comprehensive suite of unit, integration, and functional tests
  • Build and support frontend components using React
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proficiency in C# programming
  • Hands-on experience in building APIs, preferably with .NET
  • Solid understanding of React and frontend development practices
  • Proven experience in developing and maintaining microservices in production environments
  • Familiarity with automated testing frameworks (unit and functional testing)
  • Working knowledge of SQL databases (SQL Server 2012+, Oracle, PostgreSQL)

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Experience with event-driven architecture and messaging systems (e.g., Solace, Kafka, RabbitMQ, ZeroMQ, MSMQ)
  • Knowledge of distributed caching technologies (Redis, Memcached, Couchbase)
  • Experience with Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) tools such as EF6, EF Core, NHibernate
  • Exposure to CI/CD tools and practices (Git, Jira, Jenkins, TeamCity, Octopus)
  • Experience working with high-traffic or distributed systems
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience with .NET Core
  • Understanding of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
  • Awareness of modern observability practices
