The Role:
 
We are looking for an experienced SDET with expertise in Appium and TypeScript to join our QA team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining comprehensive automated test suites to ensure the quality and reliability of our product. The ideal candidate should have a solid technical background in software testing, a thorough understanding of mobile test automation principles, and significant hands-on experience with Appium with typescript

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test suites using Appium and TypeScript.
  • Implement and optimize test automation frameworks from scratch.
  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure seamless integration of automated testing processes.
  • Perform thorough testing of mobile applications on iOS and Android platforms.
  • Identify, analyze, and document bugs and defects found during testing.
  • Conduct regression testing to verify resolved issues and validate new features.
  • Continuously improve testing processes and infrastructure.
  • Provide detailed and accurate test reports to stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest testing tools, techniques, and industry trends.

 

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in mobile test automation using Appium and TypeScript.
  • Strong understanding of mobile testing principles and best practices for iOS and Android.
  • Experience in developing and implementing test automation frameworks from scratch.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with other automation tools and frameworks.
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
  • Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools.
