The Role

As a Senior Java Software Engineer you will be part of a cross-functional agile team of talented Engineers and Delivery Specialists  (typically 6-10 people) working together to build microservices for the Player Account Management platform. Your expertise lies within Java development. We believe that you will be eager to take ownership and develop interfaces in our various platform areas, such as; Bonus and Loyalty Services, Core Rewards Engine and Marketing Compliance.

You will participate in design discussions with your colleagues to find great solutions to complex engineering challenges. We strongly believe in the “You Design it, You Build It, You Test It, You Run It, You Tweak It” ethos and everyone is expected to take part of the full system life cycle to ensure reliability and uptime of the production environment.

Our Tech Stack

Essential hands-on experience is required in the tech stack listed below. 
Note: All candidates are subject to hands on coding test at interview process. (This is a peer review exercise without AI assistance while sharing screens)

•    Java & Spring Boot (6+ Years hands on experience)
•    Persistence layer (4 Years)
o    Transactions management
o    Oracle, Couchbase(or similar e.g. MongoDB)
o    JPA / Hibernate
•    Event driven architecture(4 Years)
o    JMS / Spring Cloud Streams
o    Solace / Kafka (or similar e.g. RabbitMQ)
•    Platform 
o    Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes
o    Logs & metrics 
•    Splunk, InfluxDB, Grafana
•    Agile and lean values

Note: Persistence layer and Event driven, good practical experience and understanding in similar technology will be considered.
