Senior IT System Engineer - Infrastructure Specialist

In this role, you will ensure the security, stability, and performance of our core infrastructure — including Active Directory, PKI, DNS, DHCP, file servers, and Windows Server fleet. You will apply modern, automated tools like Azure Arc and Puppet and demonstrate expert knowledge in Hyper-V environments, covering server virtualization, cluster deployment, and hardware management. 

What You Will Do 

• Deploy, configure, and maintain Windows Servers and Hyper-V hosts, including cluster installation and hardware management to support scalable virtualization. 

• Operate and maintain Azure-based infrastructure, managing hybrid environments with Azure Arc (Azure Stack HCI knowledge is a plus). 

• Manage critical corporate services: Active Directory (on-premises and cloud via Microsoft Entra ID), DNS, DHCP, Radius, and file servers. 

• Define, implement, and maintain security hardening policies for Windows and Linux servers following industry best standards. 

• Operate and improve Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) to support secure, certificate-based authentication and network access. 

• Implement secure administration workflows using Privileged Access Workstations (PAWs), secure protocols (SSH, RDP), and Privileged Access Management (PAM) tools. 

• Automate system configuration and management tasks using Puppet, PowerShell, Python, and Bash scripting. 

• Provide strategic technical guidance and mentoring to the infrastructure team, fostering innovation and knowledge sharing. 

Who We're Looking For 

• Do you have a strong background in managing complex Microsoft infrastructures and hands-on expertise with Windows Server and Hyper-V environments? We are seeking a professional with a Master's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields. Experience managing hybrid cloud environments with Azure Arc—and ideally Azure Stack HCI—is highly valued. Have you led migrations of legacy on-premises systems to the cloud? That experience will be an advantage here. 
• Preferred candidates hold Microsoft certifications such as SC-100, AZ-104, AZ-140, AZ-900, MS-102, or MS-900. Additional credentials in security or cloud architecture add even more value. 
• We look for strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, and PowerShell. Familiarity with Kusto Query Language (KQL) and Microsoft Graph API is a plus. Are you comfortable with Active Directory, Hyper-V virtualization, cluster environments, file servers, Radius, PKI, NPS, and NDES? Your expertise in Windows Server provisioning, vulnerability management, and incident response will also be vital.
