The role

This role will ensure compliance with the respective Regulations and play a key part in FDJ United's strategy and policy in various markets. Internally, the role will focus on installing best practices and processes and policies, while externally the role will be involved in leading and maintaining a localized strategy and approach to the market, working with the likes of Public Affairs, Communications and Commercial teams, as well as external networks.

 

What will you be doing?  

  • Explore localized ways to increase our wider customer base's awareness of RG and FDJ United's commitment to player protection.
  • Ensure that local regulatory expectations on the detection of harmful gambling are met.
  • Advise on the RG Strategy as part of the CCR frameworks and flag potential shortcomings in local Duty of Care expectations.
  • Empower Player Risk Teams to successfully handle RG cases and support on highly sensitive cases where required.
  • Deliver RG training to local Player Sustainability teams.
  • Define the internal key stakeholders and explore gaps and new opportunities for collaboration.
  • Collaborate intensely with internal key stakeholders across departments and provide regular market-based RG updates and insights.
  • Explore new ways of working with local marketing teams to increase alignment and mutual learning.
  • Handle local audits and regulatory reporting.
  • Review local regulatory requirements, identify and escalate potential gaps and improvement areas.
  • Ensure our localized RG Policies are up-to-date and our RG Strategy is well-documented.
  • Ensure our local RG onsite content is correct and compliant.
  • Maintain external relationships in your jurisdiction and look for new collaboration initiatives.
  • Explore and document findings on RG Ways of Working by main competitors.
  • Keep updated with market specifics within the industry.
  • Handle market-specific ad hoc tasks and urgencies.
  • Ensure that you adhere to the Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) obligations for your role.
  • Identify and raise any non-compliance incidents promptly to your line manager.
  • Challenge processes, policies and projects that will negatively impact compliance within the Group.
  • Complete all mandatory compliance training assigned to you.
  • Reach out to the Compliance Teams if unsure of any of your compliance obligations or the requirements are unclear.
