The Poker Operation Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and strategic direction of the product, ensuring an optimal player experience, and maximizing the growth and profitability of the Poker vertical.

  • Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth gameplay, monitor the poker platform for any issues, and coordinate with support teams to resolve incidents.
  • Manage and optimize the poker lobby and tournament schedules, to ensure an engaging and competitive player environment.
  • Ensure poker operations adhere to regulatory requirements in all applicable jurisdictions.
  • Work with customer service teams to ensure high-quality support for poker players, addressing issues and complaints promptly.
  • Work closely with the marketing teams and our 3rd party supplier to align roadmaps and ensure the correct content is promoted based on expected performance and commercial incentives.
  • Work with key affiliate partners with tournament set-ups and to maximise acquisition opportunities.
  • Monitor player feedback and collaborate with UX, CX and our third party supplier to enhance our offering.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the poker product and generate regular performance reports.
  • Conduct regular competitive analyses to ensure the poker product remains innovative and competitive.
  • Test and implement new features in collaboration with the Product Development Manager.
  • Support the Events Team and local markets to organise and deliver the Unibet open and other global and local Poker events as and when required.
  • Support our responsible gaming team and external suppliers to achieve our journey to 0% revenue from harmful gambling.
  • Represent the Poker team and the Poker product internally by raising awareness of the product and sharing updates on poker developments

Your experience

  • Experience of working within the gaming industry, preferably within Online Poker
  • Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proven experience of process optimisation and enhancement
  • Ability to evaluate and solve problems creatively
  • Intermediate excel skills and experience working with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word etc.)
  • Excellent communicator (both verbal and written) with a high level of spoken and written English.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Experience of working with third party suppliers is preferred
  • Experience of working within the gaming industry, preferably within Online Poker
  • Team player who can also work independently when required
