  • Support management and Operations teams in providing bespoke business intelligence, statistics, and reports
  • Provide valuable insight and recommendations to prevent fraudulent activity and improve operational efficiency
  • Ensure operational tasks are handled in a timely manner and of high quality

 

Key responsibilities

  • Respond to ad-hoc data requests from various business stakeholders promptly and accurately.
  • Collect and proactively analyze data, focusing on management insights or fraud trend analysis.
  • Present data insights clearly and concisely to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Produce accurate reports and recommendations based on findings to enhance procedures and processes.
  • Maintain a consistent information and feedback flow with Operations teams.
  • Undertake projects to improve workflows and provide support to Operational teams.
  • Liaise with payment providers and other financial institutions to verify and manage various types of transactions.
  • Handle data requests from the police and other authorities to assist in their investigations.
  • Serve as a point of contact for Compliance and Legal teams in compiling cases.
  • Manage payment disputes to mitigate losses, contesting effectively and offering valuable analysis and feedback to Player Sustainability teams.
  • Fulfill other tasks as assigned by management, including record-keeping and other requirements.
  • Ensure that you adhere to the Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) obligations for your role.
  • Identify and raise any non-compliance incidents promptly to your line manager.
  • Challenge processes, policies and projects that will negatively impact compliance within the Group.
  • Complete all mandatory compliance training assigned to you.
  • Reach out to the Compliance Teams if unsure of any of your compliance obligations or the requirements are unclear.

 

Skills and Experience Required

  • In-depth knowledge of the iGaming industry, including key operational processes, essential metrics, and critical KPIs (key performance indicators).
  • Proficient in SQL for analyzing large datasets and managing relational databases.
  • Strong ability to investigate and  interpret data, identify trends, and draw logical conclusions.
  • Analytical problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively, even without direct authority.
  • Expertise in using reporting and business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, QlikView, or similar platforms, with experience in these tools considered a plus.
  • Self-motivated, well-organized, and able to work effectively under pressure.
  • A dedicated team player committed to the success of both the team and the department.
  • Adaptable and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
  • Experience in risk management, fraud prevention, or payment operations within the iGaming industry would be considered a strong advantage.
