The role

As a Network Engineer, you'll be at the heart of our global infrastructure—designing, building, and operating robust network and hardware solutions that power our data centers and offices worldwide. You'll collaborate across teams to craft high-performing, scalable platforms that span the entire tech stack. Whether it's hardware deep in a data center or smart software solutions at the edge, you'll play a key role in delivering the world-class performance and reliability our business depends on.
 

Responsibilities

  • Design and build the network and hardware solutions at all our data centers and offices globally.
  • Design and build the support platforms for our network and hardware solutions.
  • Maintain and improve our infrastructure.
  • Solve daily tasks.
  • Support and act in line with the company values.
  • Share knowledge and contribute to team's documentation.
  • Keep up to date with compliance training offered by the company.
  • Collaborate to achieve common goals.
  • Follow the company processes, procedures, and methodologies.
  • Ensure that you adhere to the Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) obligations for your role.
  • Identify and raise any non-compliance incidents promptly to your line manager.
  • Challenge processes, policies and projects that will negatively impact compliance within the Group.
  • Complete all mandatory compliance training assigned to you.
  • Reach out to the Compliance Teams if unsure of any of your compliance obligations or the requirements are unclear.

 

Skills and Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience is required.
  • Must have hands-on working experience within data center environments.
  • Experience within switched networks and BGP/MPLS.
  • Solid knowledge in TCP/IP.
  • Knowledge in Unix/Linux environments.
  • General knowledge in BSD.
  • Experience in scripting.
  • Experience within all parts of the stack such as; hardware, cabling, and software.
  • Knowledge about Open Source solutions.
  • Good at building relationships.
  • Verbal and written communication skills.
