The role

The Marketing Manager oversees the creative execution of advertising and brand applications, as well as media planning and implementation. They lead overall marketing efforts, focusing on ATL & BTL strategies, media, and digital initiatives within the market. This role may cover a single brand or multiple brands.

 

What you will do

  • Collaborate with the country leadership team and own the brands strategy for the market with focus on ATL&BTL media.
  • Collaborate closely with internal and external creative and local media teams, serving as the primary point of contact for the market and assist with the contractual process for onboarding suppliers, oversee implementation tracking, and address any issues that arise.
  • Liaise closely with the Country Manager and local team, key internal stakeholders to support and drive marketing campaigns and ensure the delivery of same. 
  • Manage and optimise our agency relationships and end product output. 
  • Align central and local strategies to ensure local delivery of the agreed strategy. 
  • Provide post campaign reporting to internal stakeholders and management. 
  • Analyse the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and optimize accordingly and work closely with internal key stakeholders to support projects and ensure the delivery of cross-departmental projects.

  • Perform market and competitive research together with internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Collaboration with the rest of the marketing team on development of annual/quarterly promotional plan in line with the overall brand strategy. 
  • Support with projects related to sponsorship, activations as per the local needs.  

 

Keeping Us Compliant

  • Ensure that you, and your team, adhere to the Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) obligations within your direct responsibility and control.
  • Ensure any non-compliance incidents within your team are raised through the appropriate channels (Compliance Incidents Process) and that your team are informed of any reporting processes relevant to them.
  • Challenge processes, policies and projects that will negatively impact compliance within the Group.
  • Ensure your team's completion of all mandatory compliance trainings within the set deadline.
  • Reach out to the Compliance Teams if unsure of any of your compliance obligations or the requirements are unclear.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proven track record of building great relationships with stakeholders.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • Must thrive in multi-tasking, quick moving, demanding environment.
  • Strong understanding of local market nuances in areas such as player behaviour and compliance.
  • Expertise with coordinating and running 360 campaigns.
  • Experience within the online gambling industry is an advantage.
  • At least 3 years of experience working in a Marketing Manager role.
  • Native Romanian speaker, business level English speaking and writing also required.

 

*Remote role - flexibility to work from Bucharest, Romania for initial 12 months.
