About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Internal Communications Manager to lead internal communication within Online Betting & Gambling, the business unit formed following the integration of Kindred into FDJ Group.

You will play a key role in ensuring that everyone in the Business Unit—and relevant stakeholders in the wider FDJ Group—clearly understand the Business Unit strategy, priorities, and direction.

This role is critical in enabling smooth integration and aligned focus on the BU's objectives as part of our wider Group, fostering a strong sense of belonging, and proactively shaping communication strategies to keep employees informed, engaged, and aligned with our strategic direction and integration progress.

Reporting to the Head of Transformation within FDJ's Group HR Team, you will be the key link between our business unit and the broader Group communications function, helping to ensure clear, consistent, and impactful messaging across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all employees understand the Business Unit's strategy, performance, and priorities, enabling alignment and the feeling of being a unified BU team across functions, offices, time zones and hybrid working patterns.
  • Communicate key BU and Group information related to performance, products, sustainability and strategic objectives in a way that builds confidence and engagement.
  • Collaborate closely with HR, Business Leaders, and Group Communications to drive a high-performance culture and an engaged workforce.
  • Develop and execute internal communication strategies that support our transformation, business and cultural integration, and celebrate strategic milestones.
  • Support major business updates, organisational change programs and culture initiatives through well-crafted communication plans.
  • With the BU HR Management Team, and Group Transformation team, proactively identify integration challenges and opportunities, recommending communication approaches to address them.
  • Serve as the internal communication bridge between Online Betting & Gambling and FDJ Group, ensuring alignment in messaging and engagement and the use of channels and approaches that work for our international BU footprint
  • Provide a platform for Business Unit and Group leadership, ensuring leaders communicate authentically, consistently and impactfully, within the BU and to our wider Group.
  • Own Business Unit internal communication channels, including our internal communications platform (Workvivo) and business unit all hands, managing some elements of execution with and through the Group Internal Communications team members.
  • Leverage data and insights from engagement surveys, retention trends, and feedback mechanisms to continuously improve BU internal communication effectiveness.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in internal communications that drive employee engagement and change, preferably in an international, matrix and multi-site organisation.
  • Hands-on experience managing in multi-channel internal communications to make it accessible and engaging across geographies, time zones and audience segments.
  • Ability to manage uncertainty and translate complex business changes and corporate messages into clear, engaging and actionable communications for employees.
  • Understanding of how to balance business unit needs with Group-wide messages and priorities.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and develop executives and senior leaders as strong, visible communicators.
  • A strategic mindset—comfortable with both long-term planning and quick tactical execution.
  • Strong writing, storytelling, and content creation skills.
  • Experience working in post-M&A integration and transformation is an advantage.
  • Experience communicating in a compliance-focused regulated environment would be useful.
  • Fluent in English, and French speaking as an advantage.
