The role

You will have the overall management responsibility for Finland market: Prepare for the reregulation in 2025/manage the biggest commercial P&L in the market in 2026.

 

What you will do

  • Full responsibility for the profit & loss (P&L) in Finland
  • Responsible for managing local market risks for the FDJ UNITED Group (regulatory, reputational, and operational)
  • Responsible for budgeting, marketing spend and cost control, as well as developing & optimizing the marketing and market brand strategy / mix 
  • Responsible for feeding into product strategy to ensure clear, competitive & relevant products to market 
  • Strong external communications that deliver ROMI in line with expectations and managing local trade association relationships & acting as local spokesperson  
  • Purchase of on/offline media based on an optimal and cost-efficient media mix  
  • Actively monitoring & improving key KPI & day to day business performance 
  • Actively hands on with customer activities & attracting, retaining & developing the customer base  
  • Actively working with product, operations and service teams to ensure players get a great customer experience and in doing so driving up player retention and satisfaction  
  • Keeping FDJ UNITED at the forefront of responsible gambling; ensuring regulatory, legal and ethical standards and obligations are upheld with a strong focus on player protect
  • Ensuring marketing activities follow relevant codes of conduct and guidelines 
  • Responsible for Commercial sustainability strategy for the local market  
  • Work with Group risk teams & executive management to monitor, manage & influence key risks. Serving as a key local advisor for strategic decisions (strategies/M&A etc) 
  • An active member of the Gibraltar local Management team, supporting the People Agenda in that location and accountable for ongoing improvements to our Employee Engagement scores
  • Role model excellent leadership and behaviors to set a winning culture in line with our company values 
  • Hire best in-class marketing talent to build a diverse and high performing local marketing team 
  • Set clear OKRs and ensure a culture of strong follow up and performance measurement, with clear alignment between teams (local & central)

  • Be a compliance ambassador and Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) leader within FDJ UNITEDGroup
  • FDJ UNITED group has numerous licenses across the globe, and you are accountable for the specific compliance obligations, as detailed in the Group Compliance Framework in your direct charge
  • Ensure that you, and your team, adhere to the Governance Risk Compliance (GRC) obligations within your direct responsibility and control
  • As subject matter expert you are accountable for the compliance risk in your area and you will decide on mitigation/risk acceptance, up to a pre-agreed level, as defined in the GroupCompliance Framework 
  • Dare to challenge processes, policies and projects that will negatively impact compliance within the Group

Your experience

  • Strategic business and product planning
  • Experience and a network within the online gambling industry is an advantage
  • 5-10 years of relevant B2C general management experience with a pure player with proven track-record of delivering tangible results
  • An internal drive to be a winner, motivating and inspiring people to be proud and deliver the best gambling experience
