The role:

As an Experimentation Front-End Developer, you will be instrumental in building and testing new feature prototypes. You will be responsible for improving and automating the experimentation process by supporting the wider development teams on the overall product roadmap. You will work alongside product developers by creating minimum viable products (MVPs) for A/B testing to enhance user engagement and optimize site performance. This role requires a blend of creativity and technical expertise, as you will be turning ideas into tangible features that can be rapidly tested and iterated upon.

 

What you will do:

  • Prototype Development: Code new feature prototypes using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • API Integration: Work with various casino and sports APIs to fetch data and integrate it into feature prototypes.
  • A/B Testing: Implement and manage A/B tests to evaluate the effectiveness of new features and iterate based on test results.
  • Tracking: Implement tracking mechanisms and collaborate with the data team to measure success.
  • Collaboration: Work alongside product managers, designers, and other developers to implement best practices for experimentation and oversee test developments.
  • Automation: Identify opportunities to create tools to speed up the experimentation process, utilising GenAI capabilities where possible.
  • Ensure that you adhere to the Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) obligations for your role.
  • Identify and raise any non-compliance incidents promptly to your line manager.
  • Challenge processes, policies and projects that will negatively impact compliance within the Group.
  • Complete all mandatory compliance training assigned to you.
  • Reach out to the Compliance Teams if unsure of any of your compliance obligations or the requirements are unclear.

 

Your experience:

    • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
    • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and data integration.
    • Knowledge of React.js or similar front-end frameworks.
    • Experience with A/B testing tools and methodologies.
    • Ability to build MVPs and iterate quickly based on feedback.
    • Experience with any of the experimentation platforms e.g. Optimizely, Growthbook
    • Excellent collaboration and communication skills dealing with stakeholders from across the business with varying technical knowledge.
    • Attention to detail to quickly troubleshoot and fix development issues.
    • Understanding of user experience (UX) principles.
    • Experience in the online gaming or betting industry is a plus.
    • Analytical skills and experience with data tracking implementation is a plus.
    • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
