The Role 

Our Platform Delivery and Reliability Services (PDRS) team is on the lookout for a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to take charge of provisioning and maintaining Kubernetes clusters and infrastructure pipelines for both on-prem and cloud deployments.

You'll provision and maintain Kubernetes clusters, maintain infrastructure pipelines and manage our cloud infrastructure, ensuring our applications are always performing at their best. Your expertise in developing scripts and automation tools will streamline operations and reduce manual workflows, making everything run smoothly.

When technical issues arise, you'll be the go-to person for diagnosing and resolving them. Your skills with Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, ArgoCD, Ansible, Terraform, and scripting languages like Python or Groovy will be put to great use.

Main responsibilities:  

  • Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure and resources to ensure high availability, performance, and security of applications.
  • Develop pipelines and automation tools to streamline operations and reduce manual workflows.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues in development, test, and production environments.
  • Work collaboratively with software engineering teams to design and implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment processes.

Skills and Requirements 

  • Proven experience working as a DevOps engineer ( min. 3 years of experience)
  • Experience working with:
    • Containers (Docker)
    • Container Orchestration (Kubernetes)
    • CI/CD (Jenkins, ArgoCD)
    • Proven Automation skills (Ansible)
    • IaC Tools (Terraform)
    • Jenkins
    • Python or other scripting languages
    • Groovy
    • Troubleshooting 
  • Good communication skills with the ability to contribute to team discussion and collaborate with different teams

Ensure that you adhere to the Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) obligations for your role.

  • Identify and raise any non-compliance incidents promptly to your line manager.
  • Challenge processes, policies and projects that will negatively impact compliance within the Group.
  • Complete all mandatory compliance training assigned to you.
  • Reach out to the Compliance Teams if unsure of any of your compliance obligations or the requirements are unclear.
