As we continue to evolve and scale our platform, we're seeking a motivated DevOps Engineer with a passion for Data Technologies to support our Data Teams. The ideal candidate brings deep, hands-on expertise in managing, optimizing, and automating cloud infrastructure on AWS, with a focus on ensuring scalability, reliability, and high performance across our entire product ecosystem.

This role requires initiative, resourcefulness, and autonomy. The DevOps Engineer should be able to design and deliver end-to-end solutions, diagnose and resolve issues efficiently, and drive a culture of continuous improvement. Additionally, strong communication skills are essential to collaborate with interdisciplinary stakeholders effectively.

Success in this role also requires proactiveness, adaptability, and the ability to learn quickly when working with complex component integrations. The ideal candidate should be comfortable managing competing priorities, thinking critically, and applying creative problem-solving skills.

A solid understanding of data science concepts, processes, tools, and infrastructure is essential, along with hands-on experience in AWS

Key Responsibilities:

· Ownership of the CI/CD pipeline ensuring a stable and performant platform/process.

· Effective communication with Operation's and Development teams.

· Continuously improve processes and documentation.

· Effective resolution of assigned tickets and tasks.

· Documentation and Knowledge sharing.

· Provide end to end solutions including its execution.

· Provide user support to engineering teams.

· Set up tools and required infrastructure.

· Encourage and build automated processes wherever possible.

· Incident management and root cause analysis.

· Follow the company processes, procedures, and methodologies.

· Collaborate to achieve common goals.

· Support and act in line with the company values.

· Keep up to date with compliance training offered by the company.

Technical skills required:

· Extensive experience working with AWS:

o EKS, EC2, S3, RDS, Redshift, DynamoDB, Lambda, EMR, Karpenter, Route53, IAM, etc.

· Strong experience designing CI/CD (Jenkins and ArgoCD) pipelines tailored to developer needs.

· Proficient in scripting and automation using Ansible, Python, and Bash.

· Hands-on experience containerizing applications using Docker and orchestrating them with Kubernetes or Docker Swarm.

· Familiarity with tools like Vault, Artifactory for secure secrets management and artifact delivery.

· Proficient in Git and Bitbucket for source control management.

· Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools, especially Terraform.

· Exposure to monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Kibana.

· Familiar with a range of infrastructure technologies: Couchbase, Elasticsearch, Oracle, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, and Kafka.

Technical skill desired: (nice to have)

· Data environments experience (Airflow, EMR, SageMaker, Ray, Tensorflow, MLflow, Kubeflow, Dask, Flink, Flask, Kserver)

· Exposure working with data lakes, data warehouse solutions (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift)

· Exposure to PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Kafka, Kafka Streams and Kafka Connect.

· Experience with Openstack, Azure/GCP and AWS. (S3, Lambda, SageMaker, ECS, EKS, EC2, Step functions)

· Ability to write code to automate repeatable processes (Ansible, Python, Bash).

· Experience in using containers and orchestration to dockerize existing applications.

· Experience with docker clustering frameworks like Kubernetes, Docker Swarm.

· Experience in building and maintaining existing pipelines and its components, including, but not limited to, Jenkins, Gitlab, Argocd, SonarQube, Artifactory, Vault.

· Maintain configurations and deployments of software that operates within a highly scalable distributed multi-tenanted environment.

· Understanding of Source Control Management systems like GIT.

· Experience with provisioning tools to treat infrastructure as code, like Terraform.

· Experience with monitoring and APM tools like Prometheus, Kibana, Grafana, Cloudwatch, Loki, OpenTelemetry, Splunk, Elastic.
