About the Role

As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be responsible for managing all reporting and data-related requests for Sportsbook and Kindred Racing Platform. This includes optimising SQL queries, establishing version control, as well as maintaining and automating dashboard performance. You will also collaborate with global teams to enhance reporting efficiency and standardisation.

 

What you will do:

  • Act as the primary BI contact for Sportsbook and Racing data needs
  • Develop BI reports and dashboards to assist Sportsbook and Racing operations, Risk management, Trading, Commercial and Product teams on their day to day activities
  • Perform ad hoc data extraction, manipulation & analysis for the purpose of insights and recommendations
  • Maintain the reporting framework, automate reports and dashboards wherever possible and constantly review and improve existing reports.
  • Establish and maintain version control for queries used (Oracle and Postgres via GitLab)
  • Maintain clear documentation on key metrics, data sources, and business logic.
  • Contribute to self-service analytics initiatives, making data more accessible for business users.
  • Work with global BI teams to identify and reuse existing reports where possible, minimising duplication and ensuring consistency
  • Collaborate across teams to resolve cross-functional technical issues efficiently

 

Preferred Experience and Knowledge

  • Minimum 3 years experience of BI or Data Analytics
  • Advanced SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
  • Demonstrated experience in PowerBI
  • Familiarity with best practices in BI development, automation, and governance.
  • Experience with Jira, Agile methodologies, or workflow automation tools.
  • Ability to gain co-operation and commitment and work with remote teams
  • Python is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Office
