As Affiliates Manager (Australia), you will take ownership of managing, growing, and optimising the affiliate portfolio for the Unibet brand within the Australian market. Reporting to the Head of Marketing (Australia), you will collaborate closely with the local marketing team as well as FDJ United's central affiliate operations based in Europe.

In addition to your core responsibilities within the affiliate space, you'll also play a supporting role in broader marketing initiatives. This includes identifying, onboarding, and managing content creators and influencer partnerships, digital tenancies as well as contributing to efforts that drive brand awareness and consideration for Unibet across key Australian audiences.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the performance and development of the Australian affiliate portfolio
  • This role has a Business Development component up to 30% of weekly deliverables
  • Develop, implement, and optimise affiliate marketing campaigns focused on acquisition, onboarding, retention, and reactivation
  • Improve operational efficiency by refining affiliate processes and workflows
  • Ensure all affiliate marketing activity complies with Australian regulations and internal guidelines
  • Monitor and report on affiliate performance, delivering regular KPI updates to local and central teams
  • Provide timely, effective support to affiliate partners and respond to all inbound queries.
  • Conduct weekly, fortnightly or monthly WIPs via providers own preference via EDM, Teams or in person.
  • Oversee monthly affiliate payment processing and identify underperforming accounts with actionable insights for improvement
  • Track and manage affiliate bonus spend in line with agreed budgets
  • Support additional marketing projects outside of the affiliate channel as assigned by local management
  • Conduct market and competitor research to inform strategy and decision-making
  • Participate in regular collaboration calls with Europe-based colleagues.

 

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience

  • Highly organised, proactive, and self-driven with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement
  • Proven digital business development and partnership knowledge
  • Keen interest in sports and racing—experience in wagering, gambling, or the sports/racing industry is a strong advantage
  • Strong relationship management and client servicing skills
  • Demonstrated understanding of affiliate or performance-based marketing
  • Background in online marketing, preferably in high-volume, customer-centric environments
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
