The Director of Sportsbook Product is responsible for defining, driving, and executing the end‑to‑end product vision and roadmap for the Sportsbook vertical. This role leads the strategy, customer experience (in collaboration with the UX central team), and performance of the Sportsbook product across all markets, ensuring that the platform is competitive, innovative, compliant, and aligned with the company’s growth ambitions.

You will partner closely with Trading, Tech/Engineering, Operations, Data, UX, and Marketing teams to deliver a high‑quality, differentiated player experience grounded in strong analytics and a deep understanding of customer behaviour.

 

 

 

A. Product Vision & Strategy 

  • Define and own the longterm product vision for our Sportsbook platform across markets and our one internal sportbook platform strategy. 

  • Translate customer insights, market trends, and competitive intelligence into a compelling product strategy. 

  • Ensure the product supports commercial performance targets (engagement, retention, revenue). 

  • Champion innovation in UX, features, markets, pricing tools, personalisation, and content. 

B. Roadmap Leadership 

  • Build and prioritise a clear product roadmap balancing shortterm delivery and longterm transformation. 

  • Oversee product lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring bestinclass execution. 

  • Secure crossfunctional alignment and facilitate decisionmaking across stakeholders. 

  • Maintain strong governance and structured product signoff processes. 

  • Manage our current multi-platform status (KSP, ABP and Kambi) in parallel of driving our one internal platform strategy 

C. Delivery & Execution 

  • Produce highquality product requirements, documentation, and specifications for Engineering. 

  • Partner with Tech on delivery planning, sprint priorities, and execution quality. 

  • Monitor release performance and drive continuous optimisation based on data, KPIs, and feedback. 

  • Ensure robust UAT and postlaunch validation. 

D. Cross-Functional Collaboration 

  • Collaborate with Trading teams on pricing capabilities, inplay performance, risk tools, and operational workflows. 

  • Align with Marketing and CRM on customer journeys, promotions, segmentation, and conversion levers. 

  • Work with Operations to ensure platform stability, compliance, monitoring, and efficiency. 

  • Partner with Data & Insights teams to build a metricsdriven culture in product strategy. 

  • Partner with procurement on all third party deals for sportbook products 

E. Market & Regulatory Alignment 

  • Ensure full compliance with all regulatory obligations across jurisdictions. 

  • Partner with Legal, Compliance, and local market teams to integrate responsible gaming and regulatorybydesign principles. 

  • Adapt product features to local market requirements and customer behaviour. 

F. Performance Management 

  • Own Sportsbook product KPIs (NGR, ARPU, retention, engagement, margins, latency). 

  • Identify growth opportunities and performance gaps through rigorous analysis. 

  • Prepare regular business performance updates for leadership. 

 

3. Leadership Responsibilities 

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Product Managers, Product Owners, UX, and analysts. 

  • Provide clear vision, priorities, and development opportunities to the team. 

  • Foster a culture of high performance, customer focus, and crossteam collaboration. 

 

 

4. Skills & Experience Required 

Experience 

  • 10-15+ years in Product Management, ideally in Sports Betting. 

  • Demonstrated success delivering largescale B2C digital products. 

  • Strong experience with datadriven decisionmaking and highvelocity product delivery environments. 

Technical & Domain Skills 

  • Deep understanding of Sportsbook platforms, betting mechanics, markets, and trading workflows. 

  • Strong knowledge of UX/UI best practices and customer acquisition/retention levers. 

  • Experience with agile methodologies and product governance frameworks. 

Behavioural Skills 

  • Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management. 

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to simplify complexity. 

  • Leadership presence and ability to drive teams in fastpaced, highstakes environments. 

  • Strategic thinker with a handson delivery mindset.
