ABOUT YOUR ROLE

We are looking for our new Lead Product Manager to join FDJ Group to help us define and lead FDJ’s International Lotteries product strategy. You will guide the design, execution and commercialization of products for high-priority regions, including Europe and the United States.

This role is pivotal in aligning customer needs with regulatory requirements, technological feasibility, and financial goals. You will play a central role in shaping FDJ’s vision for international growth, driving innovation, and ensuring operational excellence.

WHAT YOU WILL DO 

  • You will conduct in-depth market analysis with the support of relevant functions within the organization, leveraging customer insights and competitive intelligence to identify opportunities in existing and emerging markets.

  • You will define and refine core product requirements with a focus on delivering superior customer experiences, meeting regulatory standards, and achieving competitive differentiation.

  • You will drive the review of FDJ’s current B2B product and customer offering, ensuring strategic alignment with international market expansion.

  • You will assess ROI of product and technology initiatives, collaborating with Strategy, Finance, and Technology teams to recommend scalable, market-appropriate solutions.

  • You’ll lead "make vs. buy" assessments in close collaboration with the Tech team, evaluating technology integrations and post-merger scenarios, ensuring alignment with long-term business goals.

  • You will act as a key liaison with internal teams such as Technology, Data & AI, Strategy, Marketing, and Compliance to ensure alignment and successful product execution.

  • You will manage relationships with external stakeholders, including regulatory authorities, technology vendors, and strategic partners in international markets, contributing to lobbying and negotiation efforts.

  • You will develop and implement structured processes for roadmap management, prioritization and decision-making, ensuring alignment across business units and seamless inter-departmental collaboration.

  • You will establish clear frameworks for stakeholder engagement, including external regulators and partners.

  • You will leverage player behavior analytics, A/B testing, and customer interviews to ensure roadmaps align with user needs.

  • You will build and mentor a high-performing product team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and excellence in execution.

TO EXCEL IN THIS ROLE, WE BELIEVE YOU HAVE… 

We seek candidates with a strong technical foundation and business acumen.

  • You have a proven track record of developing multiple product strategies and roadmaps, from design to execution and commercialization, in international contexts, including new and regulated environments.

  • You have an gambling industry background; experience in Lotteries is highly valued.

  • You have exceptional collaboration skills, with a proven ability to manage priorities and align stakeholders across diverse, international teams.

  • Your strong technical background (former experience as a Software Engineer, Solution Architect or Business Analyst), allows you to collaborate with and influence Tech teams on architectures, infrastructures and vendor decisions, including “make vs. buy” assessments and ideally integrations in post-merger contexts.

  • Your experience working in Agile and Lean environments, applying methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, SAFe and Build-Measure-Learn cycles to drive continuous improvement and product-market fit.

  • You have experience working in cross-functional organizations (e.g., Tribes & Squads).

  • You are used to manage a P&L, driving revenue growth and aligning product performance with financial targets.
